Stuff I get asked a lot. Here are your answers: 

Is Lucy your real name?

I...well...no. Although it's not a big secret or anything. My mother, for example, is very proud of my work. Ahem.

The Whored Series is a bit different to Beautiful Mess, isn't it?

Yes. And no. The Whored series is darker in terms of the emotional stuff it deals with, and it's a lot filthier. However I think they all share the same sense of humour, and if you liked Beautiful Mess, I think you'll like characters like Aidan in particular. If Olly had a bisexual manwhore big brother, it'd be Aidan.

How does Twisted Summer fit in?

Twisted Summer is currently a stand alone novel, though it occurs in the same universe as my other books. Some of you may have noticed that Matt from the Whored series actually wrote the lyrics for Butterfly Scream, the song quoted in Twisted Summer. Three guesses where he got the inspiration ;)

Will there be a sequel to Twisted Summer?

I'm not sure yet. All my characters do tend to crop up in other books though, so I imagine Danni and Gabe will feature elsewhere, even if they only have smaller roles. 

What are you writing now?

I'm writing another new adult novel (a full novel, that is). I don't want to reveal too much until it's finished--which I hope will be in the next few months--but I can tell you that Aidan from The Whored series has a role (he is the brother of the hero), and that if you ever wished Beautiful Mess was longer, you'll probably like it.

Will there be any more stories with the characters from Beautiful Mess?

While originally I had planned to write other stories, this is now postponed indefinitely. Again, I suspect the characters will crop up in other people's stories from time to time.

Was Beautiful Mess originally Twilight fan fiction?

No.  As an author, I'm against the practise of repackaging of fan fiction for profit. If you see my work tagged as fan fiction, please let me know--I really don't appreciate the association.

Are you a lawyer in real life, like Leila from the Whored series?

No. But I luckily know many to harass for research, and I certainly did a lot of research.

Are you a prostitute in real life, like Leila?

No. I found plenty of ways to research that too, though. Cough!

Are you a wedding cake maker in real life, like Bailey?

Not professionally, but I'm a very keen baker and have knocked up decent celebration cakes. Except the dragon cake. We don't talk about Derek the dragon.

Do you have any pet rats, like Bailey?
